A scribble post during huge break

Arh. So sian. Only 50 mins of study everyday. It is not like I love studying very much, just that i feel my time is wasted travel back and forth from school to hostel and another way around. If only i have Doraemon's miracle door, thing would not be this bad (I will dedicate a post to Doraemon later on when i have time. He is an interesting character, idol of everyone's childhood)

Okie, so lately i got addicted to Densha Otoko series. Although I have just gone through one third of the whole show, I already fall in love with

1) Not the otaku, but the particular Yamada-san who I find quite similar to someone i noe.

2) The actress: Misaki Ito she is not cute but she is mature and beautiful. Man, I wish i could be a man or at least an otaku to get on a date with her

3) A huge Japanese internet culture: It pays to watch the movie and do a little research on wat i have seen. Japanese are freaks but without them, I am sure I Wouldn't known this much about this world or at least 1/6 or this world. I am not confused between Chinese and Japanese, just that i noe Japanese culture influences at least 1/6 of this world population, actually, it could be more...let's put it 1/3

Here are your terminologies to do research on. Basically, they are about a new form of typographic arts originated and popularized by huge forum. Objects of this arts at first were just simply different facial expressions. Later on, they develop into small objects like rose, a cup of coffee or cute cute animals like cat or pig. Finally as you can see below: a freaking big pandorama. People seem interested in creating a detailed piture from a tiny bits of seperate characters aligned rigidly on computer screen. A picture speaks thousand words. Haiz, in this case, a picture made from thousand words will speak at least 2 words "Detail freaks".

Kaomoji
, simply known as emoticon. I was suprised to notice that there are two kinds of Kaomoji: Western and East Asian. Westerner are more hardworking in this case though since they accep to tilt their head to the left =( to read whereas Asian lazy bum choose another way. I am lazy, so I go for Asian style, YEah! ^_^

ASCII art

Shift JIS art

Two terms above are somewhat similar. I actually cannot distinguish them very clearly. The rough idea is there but i vaguely get it. But I think I am more interested in Shift JIS art for it looks more original and animated whereas ASCII appears to be a way to tabulate a real life picture into textual language only.
and

2channel : A huge Internet family whose work is to disseminate the love for Japanese culture. I would not say this is brain-washing since it is not that oppressive. OK, I call it a whirlpool of attraction. People find their own way to drown in this world anyway. I think I am one of the victims >_<. By the way, Densha Otoko is based on a true story in a thread posted by a real otaku in 2channel. Damn lucky guy, run into a super nice girl. Imagine if he ran into me, he must have committed suicide the next day.

Uhm, so far there are 2 real-Internet romances I admire: "My sassy girl" and "Densha Otoko". For no reason, I like Densha Otoko better. Maybe it is more realistic and i noe that in real life, they end up being together. "My sassy girl" is in a more solemn tone TT_________TT. Also, I strongly protest any American remake. Vulgar Westerner don't understand how Asian love
and a sample of brilliant time and brain matter-consuming masterpieces

and i want this book. Pls anyone reading my blog, buys it for me ^_^
